VergeCell 4500 is a compact base station (eNodeB) providing wireless network coverage for 4G LTE data and voice, comparable to that of standard high-powered macro eNodeB solutions. It’s major advantage is a powerful baseband that allows for increased throughput and number of sectors in comparison to competitor solutions while maintaining compact external dimensions. These features make the VergeCell 4500 a cost-optimized solution to the problem of building wide-area private networks, where the density of terminals is lower than in public networks and it is not necessary to use extensive (in terms of performance and physical size) RAN solutions.
